Acquired

New hats (2), new tops (7), expensive Russian union jack mug, 3 monkeys charm with bell, new sandals (2), hairbrush, ‘cotton’ shorts for cycling, general use cotton shorts, George at Asda real cotton trousers (from Karen B), closed heel and toe sandals (from Kim), green ‘pearl’ necklace, other necklaces (4), new flipflops (2), dangerous unprotected element for boiling a single cup of water.

Left behind

Rough guide to Moscow, Russian-English dictionary, Boden shorts (to Karen B), ‘cotton’ shorts. Flip flops from Laos, salt and pepper from Moscow, indestructible Russian mug, hair mousse from Japan.

Discarded

Broken Russian union jack mug, old sandals (2), previously white but now dirty grey t-shirt (never bring any white clothes on a trip like this).

Lost

Hairbrush (lost twice but found again both times). Both elastic washing lines :(  Phil’s long-sleeved Indian shirt.
